Tea Blouse 7. Avocado
One of a set of 8 beautiful unique designs created with treasures from the textile stash and then hand dyed with natural botanical extracts.
This blouse features a perennial favourite....broderie anglaise. I don't know if they even make such cottons any more. Polyester finds it's way into so many textiles and trims now. The main body is beautiful soft Indian linen/cotton with a self woven stripe. There is a deep lace edging on the sleeves with a lace feature through the centre of the front. I love how the different fabrics took on the dye.
Fabrics are delicate and garment should be washed gently with cool water and eco -wash . Dry in shade.
Please note that each fabric and trim takes the dye differently and therefore may fade and change over time and at different rates. Natural dye has inconsistencies considered part of it's charm and not seen as a fault.
